Our goal at Kalpagam is to support and guide everyone interested in the Montessori world—whether you are a child, parent, educator, school owner, traditional school teacher, doctor, psychologist, or simply an enthusiast. We strive to be a one-stop destination for all your Montessori needs, offering a holistic and authentic approach to Montessori education and practice.
Here are some of our services and products:
Montessori Teacher Training Programs (Toddler, Primary & Lower Elementary)

At Kalpagam, we offer comprehensive Montessori teacher training programs in association with National Council for Vocational and Research Training (NCVRT) New Delhi, designed to equip adults with the knowledge, skills, and mindset essential for working with children at various developmental stages. Our training courses are grounded in the authentic principles of Dr. Maria Montessori and are facilitated by experienced and passionate trainers.
-
Toddler (1.5–3 years): This program focuses on the sensitive early years of life, helping adults understand how to create a nurturing, prepared environment that supports movement, language, independence, and emotional security for infants and toddlers.
-
Primary (3–6 years): Trainees gain a deep understanding of how to guide young children through the foundational areas of Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Culture, using hands-on materials that foster concentration, coordination, and independence.
-
Lower Elementary (6–9 years): This program explores the intellectual and moral development of the elementary-aged child. Adults are trained to facilitate cosmic education, guide abstract thinking, and support the child’s exploration of the interconnectedness of all things through storytelling, impressionistic charts, and research.
Each program includes theoretical lectures, observation hours, supervised practice with materials, and practical assignments that ensure participants are fully prepared to work with children in an authentic Montessori setting.
After-school Tuition for Traditional School Children

At Kalpagam, we offer a unique After-School Tuition Program for children from 1st to 5th grade who attend traditional schools. This program is designed to provide academic support in a nurturing, stress-free environment rooted in the Montessori approach to learning. Rather than focusing solely on rote memorization or textbook-based instruction, our program emphasizes conceptual clarity, self-paced learning, and joyful engagement with academic content.
Montessori in A Box - Montessori Learning Materials

At Kalpagam, we take great pride in designing and producing high-quality Montessori learning materials that are meticulously handcrafted and aligned with international standards. These materials are at the heart of the Montessori method, serving as essential tools that foster self-directed learning, hands-on exploration, and the natural developmental progression of each child.
Crafted with care using durable, child-safe, and aesthetically appealing materials—such as natural wood, metal, and cloth—our products combine functionality with sensory richness. They are designed to invite repetition, discovery, and deep engagement. Our collection spans all key areas of the Montessori Elementary and Erdkinder (Adolescent) curriculum, while thoughtfully integrating elements of the National Curriculum in India. This dual alignment ensures that children receive a rich, holistic education that is both globally grounded and locally relevant.
Childniture – Handcrafted Montessori Furniture for Children

At Kalpagam, we proudly design and manufacture Childniture—a line of high-quality, child-sized Montessori furniture that supports independence, movement, and purposeful work in children. Rooted in the Montessori philosophy of "help me to do it myself," our furniture is thoughtfully crafted to meet the developmental needs of children across different age groups.

Each piece of Childniture is custom-made using lightweight, durable, and child-safe wood, carefully selected for strength, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal. Our designs are simple, functional, and elegant, allowing children to interact with their environment freely and confidently without adult assistance.
Workshops and Seminars for Parents, Teachers, and Educational Institutions

At Kalpagam, we believe that Montessori education is not limited to the classroom—it is a philosophy that thrives through shared understanding and active participation among educators, parents, and the wider community. To support this vision, we offer a wide range of workshops and seminars tailored to meet the unique needs of parents, teachers, doctors, psychologists and educational institutions.

These sessions are designed to deepen understanding of Montessori principles, promote conscious adult-child interactions, and empower stakeholders to create supportive environments both at home and in educational settings.

Each workshop is led by experienced Montessorians and education specialists, combining theory with interactive discussion, demonstrations, and real-life case studies. Whether you're new to Montessori or seeking to expand your understanding, Kalpagam’s workshops and seminars offer a rich space for reflection, growth, and connection.
